Our style focuses on the real experiences you have in your relationship, especially those little moments that make your love unique. We also love capturing moments from before or after your wedding.

Sike! Gotcha! Just kidding. Absolutely. No travel fees within 100mi (round trip) of Grand Rapids, MI. Beyond that, travel fees are 50c/mi by car. We’re also happy to talk about flying out to you.

Packages start at $2850 and go up from there, but the average couple spends around $3500.

Highlight films are a 5-8 minute cinematic experience that take the viewer on a journey through your wedding day. They allow for more creative visual storyteling, with a greater emphasis on abstract and conceptual elements.

A documentary film is an extended, 12-17 minute film that delves deeper into the magical moments of your wedding day. You will see more chronological storytelling, and experience more small, intimate moments.

Your wedding is going to be an amazing day. Trust us. But it’s just one day. Whether your relationship spans months, years, or decades, you have more of a story to tell than we can fit in a single day.

A story session allows us as filmmakers to uncover the little things that make your relationship special.

There aren’t really any rules, but our goal is to find a place that you feel the most like you, doing something that’s important to your relationship.

Examples include gardening, cooking a meal, going bowling, and going for a hike. But your relationship is unique, so let’s talk so we can brainstorm!

Feel like you need to see everything from your wedding day?

Instead of delivering raw footage the old fashioned way (physical delivery of individual files, which is a pain to sift through, trust me), we’ll send a beginning-to-end chronological film with everything, with lightly corrected footage and consistently leveled audio, so you can make sure you didn’t miss out on ANYTHING.

Keep in mind that it won’t always be pretty, as cameras shake, photographers walk into the shot, and uncles like to say weird things at weird times.

FOMO edits are typically upwards of 2 hours, and can be quite large in file size, so they’re typically mailed to you on a USB drive.

Technically no, but we do have a partnership with Sierra Marie Photography, an incredible photographer based in the midwest who has been a friend of Vandenberg Visuals for a long time. Our bundles offer you a more seamless booking experience, better communication between vendors, and will save you some cheddar!

If carrier pigeon isn’t your style, we use a service called VidFlow to deliver films. It offers 10 years of hosting (although we recommend downloading and making a bunch of copies right away), full 4K resolution streaming, and even an app for most smart TVs! Watch your films in the way they were meant to be watched. Physical delivery is available upon request, as well.

Of course! Love looks different for every couple, and if a traditional wedding experience is important to you, your film will still be beautiful.

We use a slate of professional-grade audio and video equipment to guarantee that your day is captured in the best quality, and with backups of our backups to protect against any equipment failure.

As tech nerds, we’re also always upgrading to make sure we have the best and latest technology.

Yes! And no.

Unfortunately, pesky copyright laws prevent us from using music you’d hear on the radio or on streaming services like Spotify.

We do have access to an extensive library of fantastic songs and will choose the best song to fit the vibe of your film. Before your wedding, we’ll discuss the mood of the film and that conversation will definitely include the music.
