The search for a filmmaker who truly cares about telling your story is over.

Here’s a little bit about me:

My favorite things include:

My dog

Ben & Jerry’s Cherry Garcia (this list is in no particular order)

My beautiful wife

Taylor Swift

Pickleball

Sketch comedy

Margaritas

The Lord of the Rings

And tinkering around. Biiiig tinkerer.

And of course, making kickass films for kickass couples with kickass love stories.

Speaking of love stories:

In 2021, I had the incredible pleasure of getting married to my beautiful best friend, Sam.

For our honeymoon, we lived like hippies for three weeks and took a road trip across the western US in a decked-out ‘02 Chevy Express Van with our 100 lb. pittie, Sully.

10/10, would do it again in a heartbeat.

Sully, showing his two sides: supermodel and goofy goober

Me (pre-haircut) on the set of Thing from the Factory by the Field (2022 dir. Joel Potrykus).

I got to do the clappy thing, and yes it was the coolest experience of my life.

There’s a piece of paper in my desk drawer saying I have a Bachelor’s degree in Film and Video Production from Grand Valley State University.

During my time as a Laker, I absorbed tons of lessons from some incredible films and filmmakers.

A more classical education in film, along with on-set experience, allows me to draw inspiration from some of the world’s greatest filmmakers:

  • Wes Anderson (The Grand Budapest Hotel, Asteroid City)

  • Ari Aster (Midsommar, Beau is Afraid)

  • Stanley Kubrick (2001: A Space Odyssey, The Shining)

  • Werner Herzog (Grizzly Man, Into the Abyss)

The most important lesson I’ve learned from these directors?

How to tell a story.

Anyone can make a wedding look cool — it’s a massive event.

But is cool how you want to remember the day you married your best friend and forever life partner? Probably not.

You probably want to remember the nerves, the excitement, the community, and of course, the romance.

That kind of storytelling requires a professional touch.

Love is Love.

unapologetically

inclusive.

All genders and expressions.

Religious or agnostic.

Any and all races and cultures.

Able or disabled.

Nuclear, blended, or chosen family.

Here or there.

If you're in love, we want to capture it.
